Attic & Crawl Floor Insulation

In many homes, maintaining a comfortable temperature can be very difficult during the summer and winter months. As heat flows from warm areas to cooler areas, your home's heating and cooling systems must work diligently to replace or remove the heat lost or gained during this heat transference. By providing resistance to the flow of heat, insulated attics and flat ceilings can effectively decrease the heating or cooling needed by up to 20%.

At Miller's Insulation, we are expertly trained and fully equipped for all types of attic insulation projects. We recommend using fiberglass, spray foam, or cellulose high R-value insulation to ensure that your home is receiving the best thermal insulation available.

Spray Foam

For spray foam insulation, we use the Icynene Insulation System™. This system creates an air-seal which minimizes air leakage and saves you money on your energy bills. Once sprayed into the attic, it expands within seconds to produce soft foam insulation and an effective air barrier. It is 100% waterproof and creates no harmful emissions that can diminish the air quality in your home.

Loose-fill Insulation

To properly install loose-fill insulation, we use a professional blowing machine and calculate the precise number of bags to achieve the desired R-value. The higher the R-value of the insulation, the more resistance to heat flow it can provide. The loose-fill insulation method is especially effective when covering obstacles such as visible pipes and wiring.

Our insulation experts at Miller's Insulation are trained and experienced in installing all types of insulation, so you can count on us to maximize your energy savings with effective thermal installation. We can also air seal your attic or crawlspace with our air sealing package—ask one of our insulation professionals for more information!
